Re: Converse 3/27

Nice day just didn’t find much fish. We head south late morning, had to finish up couple last minute boat things. Beautiful day, we found the warmer water just no fish. Warmest was 39.7 which I really expect to see some fish in. Good test of new gear, hopefully next trip produces. Reelax got a litt...

Planner mast

I have been wanting to add a planner mast. I have a supper ski mast with bolt on base but I was wondering if anyone has used theirs in a front seat mount.

Re: Reels?

Re: Reels?

Reels?

I have been running okuma magdas, they are ok but not quite best for heavy use salmon fishing. Look for somthing little better. So far I have been looking at okuma cold waters or the convetors. Like to stay around the $100 mark. What are people running and liking?

Re: Bad luck or Cursed

I just can’t seem to want to use the main and rack up hours trolling. I also like having the kicker for emergency.

Re: Fleas

I.S seems to be clear. But it is also different flea. I.S has spinny flea were the broad lake has the fishhook flea and spinny. Spinny flea flick off and only seem to get a few as the fishhook gets unbearable.

Re: Bad luck or Cursed

Got word last night that mercury know the problem and 50% of them have it. Supposed to be making parts to fix it but not sure when they will be available to dealers! F********!!! Its a good thing waterfowl season staring soon but still really want to try frost bite season.

Only one ive seem to ever find good is the original gray rapala 9v battery.
