Getting antsy, need to get on the water

I hope everyone had a good winter.
Would anyone know if access to the inland sea is possible at sandbanks?
Also is the launch open at Delta Point at the Winooski river and is the lake accessible from there?
Wish all a safe and bountiful fishing season.

Re: Crazy Ivan your 2019 Shoot Out Winner

Congratulations Todd. This was my first shootout event and had a great time fishing and meeting new people. I had heard before that the food was good and we were not disappointed. I would like to thank those responsible for the organization of this event. I am looking forward to next years shootout....

Re: Converse bay boat launch

Thanks Matt, went out today and trolled for about 10 mile from split rock south. Only a couple of yellow perch. Heading back to the boat launch got 2 lakers which we released as they were small. Trolled about 65-70 ft. Caught them on blue and white spin and glow. Fish are a bonus on such a beautiful...

Converse bay boat launch

I recently heard that the water level at Converse bay boat launch was pretty shallow. Can anyone tell me what it is like now since the heavy rain we have been getting.
Cheers.....Tom

Friday the 13th at Port Douglas

After trolling in the deeper areas of the lake in temperatures 55-60 degrees for salmon the results were negative. So, we headed to shallower water 75 - 90 feet where we saw lakers on the bottom. Trolled in the area and managed to land 6 , one of which was released. All but 1 was caught on Fat Ivans...

Re: Information

Thank you very much for his. I appreciate your input and will certainly get back to you. Tom I followed your advice and managed to get some nice Lakers in between 75 and 90 feet all by trolling. All but 1 were caught on Fat Ivans and the other on Spin and glow. It made for a great few hours and want...

Information

I am relatively new to fishing Lake Champlain and would like to put in at Port Douglas. I would like to know what the fishing has been like in that area or if other places could be suggested. Love salmon and lakers.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
