Re: Scotty Downriggers
There is a screw that holds the lock on, on the under side of the cover. Try tightening it, may solve your problems!

Re: Close the cove
We need to up the length limit on salmon in my opinion! Give these smaller fish some time to grow. The pictures I’ve been seeing lately it appears that some are keeping every salmon that hits the deck. Numbers seem to be a touch better this spring let’s not ruin it…Up the length limit to 21” and sto...

Converse
Hey all looking to possibly launch at converse Saturday for the shootout. Anyone been there recently? I’m trying to launch my 19ft islander I/o just want to make sure there’s enough water. Thanks for any response and hope to see/meet a lot of you at the shootout!

I’m curious about this as well. Maybe repost in the fishing reports section? That seems to get more attention.

Re: Good Day of Laker Fishing
Nice video! As for the salmon I’m not sure of anyone that uses spin doctors for salmon on Champlain. Mostly small spoons. Most of us who have “paddles” like spin doctors and pro trolls don’t take them out until we are targeting king salmon on Lake Ontario. Try some crazy ivan spoons, speedy shiners,...

Re: Otter boat
I love my otter boats. They are only single keel but I think double would pull out to the side even better! I have noticed that they do way better than a traditional twin board in choppy water. I’ve never sunk an otter boat but I have sunk the twins. Worth every penny in my book, they can be found u...

Re: Size
I always run big stuff when targeting lakers!! North port nailer magnum spoons are a must in my presentation! They must be all of 5”. Bigger the spoon the slower you can run and still get action.. Good luck out there!

Crayfish the trick I’ve found with uploading pics with a phone is make sure you screen shot the photo with your home button to the right. All the pictures taken like that will stay straight!

Re: Lake trout jigging outside Converse Bay July 17
We were there Saturday trolling I bet you probably saw us. They were there on bottom we landed over 20 fish between 7:30 and 10 there. Bouncing bottom with our downriggers and pulling big spoons. Cow bells with stick baits behind them work well too! THINK SLOWWWWW for lakers, we were keeping our gps...
