Good work out there today guys! We stayed north and stuck with the deep program. Slow for us only one small silver landed and a few rat lakers. Still awesome to be enjoying such a beautiful lake this time of year when it’s just hardcore anglers fishing together!

I also use the okuma classic pro downrigger rods. 7.5’ for lake Champlain salmon, 8.6’ for lake trout fishing with cowbells and Lake Ontario fishing. I even have a couple wire dipsy rods that are the classic pro diver rods. Very strong and super cheap to replace! I’ve never broke one fighting fish. ...

Thanks everyone. I’ve been leaning towards the inflatable ones just for the simple fact of “ you forget your even wearing them”. That sounds good to me! I would have never even thought about them inflating in a hatch. I’m sure there is a somewhat funny story behind that!
