Unplug them before you back into the water. Plug them back in after they have drained.

I don't know about the inland sea, but Shelburne bay area and Converse bay area are loaded with them. What a pain to scrape them off your downrigger cables.. They suck !

I guess that I'm not the only one that got skunked on Thursday. A handful of releases, lots of grass and spiny water fleas, but not a single fish. What a nice day for a boat ride though !

I recently fileted a salmon from Shelburne bay, and it too was full of smelt. No alewives at all. That's a good thing..
