No, I parked at the gate and walked. It was about a mile from the parking lot to point. No lakers at basin harbor either? I've tried at least 15 different spots on the VT side and have not yet found lakers near shore.

We all hope your treatment goes well and you are back out fishing soon. You truly are a master at this shore fishing game. I took your advice and tried Button Bay point yesterday. No lakers or salmon but I did catch a 32" and 30" pike on a mackerel colored krockodile and a 22" smallmo...

Re: fishing for salmon and browns near home on shore added pics of spawning salmon right at my feet 11/26

Thanks everyone for the info! After reading your replies I believe my silhouette was a big part of the problem, I was trying to see the take instead of just fishing. When I would move back away from the water to tie on another streamer fly or spoon or pin minnow or swim shad or ...(You get the idea)...

Re: fishing for salmon and browns near home on shore added pics of spawning salmon right at my feet 11/26

I'm looking for a little help/guidance. My morning ritual is the check and see what adventures Fishy1 and all of the other great anglers that post on this forum had yesterday. The last two evenings I've found pods of salmon feeding near shore. I know they are salmon because I have had several of the...

Re: shore fishing for walleyes and pan fish

Matt, they had a good supply of your moon eye jigs at Dick's sporting goods. I'm not sure how far that is from you but they had a large supply at the Dick's in Williston, VT. Thank you for sharing your technique on how to fish them for Walleye. Good luck with the LCI Derby this weekend as well.

Re: shore fishing for walleyes and pan fish

I'm just curious, do you work the moon eye jigs at all or just let them sit on the bottom? I've caught some nice eyes casting and jigging them back in tipped with 4" rubber fish like finess fish or club tailed perch imitations.

Those are some beautiful walleye. Great job and Congrats!

Ok, what’s the secret to posting pics? I tried copy and paste from a text and that didn’t work so well.

Re: fishing update trout ponds updated 9/17/2017 wild browns page 15

I was able to get out to a trout pond near Ti on 5/5. The Brookies seemed to be keyed in on salamanders and a large dark colored nymph I wasn't familiar with. The nymph was size 10-12. We caught 12 brook trout between 8 and 15 inches in 3 hours, none on a bare worm. Wobbler and worm worked for 3 fis...
