Re: Saturday in the northern fleet
Fantastic and great pictures. I’ll finally get there mid April because my wife is at a quilt retreat in vergennes. I’m so pumped and your posts get me even more excited. That boat look fantastic too. I love the lure rack. If you have plans on how to make it or even just some pictures I’d love to try...

Re: 2022 FROSTBITE SHOOTOUT CANCELLED
Randy, good call. I drove up from the poconos but I’m glad you called the ball. Safety is paramount. We all live to fish another day. I fished brant lake this afternoon and hopefully will find something for tomorrow if not I’ll enjoy football at a local tavern. See you guys next year

Re: Frostbite Shootout 2022
Well, looking forward to this weekends frostbite ( sunburn) derby. I have fished the derby time before but never really entered it. This year I’m gonna try. I usually fish in willsboro bay because it’s safe from the winds but hopefully I can go out of Westport this time and will be able to cross the...

Re: Willsboro bay
Thanks for the launch update. I have a 17 foot starweld so I think I should be fine. I heard the surface temp is still in the mid 60s we need fall chill to arrive for sure.

Re: Homemade Planner boards and mast
I have a 16.5 star weld that I use a planer board mast in the front swivel port. To solve your worry about your mast popping out I solved it by using a pvc pipe about 3 feet in length with a sleeve coupler on the end that fits snug into the swivel seat port. Then I slide my mast into it and it works...

Re: Leadcore setup
Thank you so much for the reply. Great info now I can begin setting up. I’ve tried the mini divers and guess I just need to really see them in action because I must be doing something wrong. But looking forward to the leadcore adventure

Leadcore setup
Hi crew, I just picked up two new rods and counter reels and would like to try leadcore but have never done it so I could use some expert setup advice. I know there are colors and I always see how many colors someone is using. My question I guess is. What weight backing? What weight leadcore and how...

Willsboro bay
Hi crew, planning on being up next weekend and was wondering how willsboro bay has been. I’ve been going out of port Henry and doing pretty good by the bridge and then north by the rocks two weeks ago but water temps change fast when it hot and no rain. Any advise would be great I have a couple of n...

Fishy 1 sure hope you are feeling better. Been fishing port Henry more and getting to know the water better. Thanks always for all your experiential knowledge. It certainly helps all of us LC rookies.
