Westport launch is free of all the hard water and lake looks open as far south as mullin brook. I see bullwagga bay is just Starting to break up.

Re: Westport - 9/20

Fished the same water 07:00-15:00 and all I had to show was a 6” yellow perch. Glad someone was able to find the fish.

Too hot to work

Quit work early hooked up the boat and went to willsboro launch solo. After a swim had lines wet by 17:00, took a hour for me to find the right combination (big blue and silver hammered stinger at 42’ over 95’ and 80’ back at 2.4) and had drag running. Never surfaced until i had a nice 23” 4.49 lb s...

How’s the bracket?

Seems good. Really need a kicker. The big two stroke is good for hammering around 45 knots not so good for hours of idle.

Re: Pro-cure Samples

I rarely fish without a piece of bright yarn and gel. I believe it works well. Thanks for the samples!! Always good to trying a different tactic

Re: Launch Willsboro

No issues gettin the 24 ft glass boat off the bunks at Westport. Willsboro, I think the far right slip as you are backing in is better.

Re: Westport Area Reports

I have been catching fish on a variety of spoons, anything purple seems good, mostly in the top thirty feet of water. My buddy broke off a big one just north of northwest bay. It’s been a week sense my boat has been wet so it could be all different now. Good luck

Re: DANGER

Wish I checked before I went, missed it by twenty or so feet today! Got skunked today but was a great day to be on the water and shake the rust off. Surface temp in mid thirty’s. Marked fish in the otter creek dimond island area.
