Re: The new phantom almost finished

At first glance the boat looked like a hewescraft! I've always thought those Alaskan boats would be awesome here in Northeast!

Great looking Boat!

Re: Hard Top mount for Fish Hawk X4D

I've search high and low for a Bracket to allow it to hang from the roof, good news is I have plenty of time to custom build one. I even asked fish hawk direct if they had ideas? I got a response back from Trevor the owner within the hour. He sent me a pic which I will Post for all to see. (If I rem...

Hard Top mount for Fish Hawk X4D

Happy Winter,

Does anyone have any ideas or pics of a bracket they've seen or built for roof mounting the new X4D fish hawk. I really want to get the screen up and out of the way keeping it off the dash if possible.

Pics would be great if you have some.

Thanks again
Steve

Re: Salmon and Laker Report

I launched from Alton Bay, I'm very surprised they haven't called official ice out yet....didn't find any ice anywhere!!! I fished from Alton bay to the north side of Diamond island. Basically a straight shot out with a few whoopsies due to fish. My new Chamberlains releases were awesome...fly rods ...

Salmon and Laker Report

How's the fishing? I haven't seen any reports yet this season?

Finally got out here in NH on Winni, beautiful weather decent fishing so far. Water is very cold still. 40 on top and 37 3' feet down. Brrr.

Re: Steering Issues

Thanks for the Post, I gave it a break yesterday but left the filler tube and bottle connected on the helm. Before I called it a day on Wednesday I raised the motors to the upright position and took the backhoe and lifted the tongue as high as it would go and parked for the night. Very funny picture...

Re: Steering Issues

Well the issue still exists! I'm 100% positive the lines are hooked up right, I had a buddy come over tonight with his BFF (marine mechanic) still 3 hours later no luck!!! The only thing it could be now is a collapsing line somewhere. To replace the lines are 18$ per foot x 32' x2. Anyone want an ea...

Re: Steering Issues

Bill, I've bleed both side numerous times, I've pumped 4 quarts through the system with no luck. I've followed the instructions to the letter! Even had the wife read them and watch me (bad move when she saw the price per quart). Ill check with them again maybe I missed something obvious. Thanks Steve

Steering Issues

I have a Tech question for all of you! I'm bleeding my sea star hydraulic steering but every time I bleed my port side my starboard side locks up tight, do I bleed that one as well. I've watched YouTube videos and read the manual 20x but still have the same issue. I've spent 100$ in oil alone now. I...

Re: Getting the itch

I'm so getting the ITCH real bad, my only issue is I need a Backhoe to find the boat!!! The snow bank in front is so big I can't see it anymore. Southern NH received record amounts of snow this season.
At least I have my other toys to play with until I can get to it.

Re: What is everyone using for a landing net?

I "WAS" using the cabelas extendable up until a week ago, I was changing the netting to the super magnum Rubba when I snapped the hoop..dumb ass!!! I've also checked out every model there is and finally decided to try the Super Ego, I found it a KTP. this thing is huge folded down to short...
