That's an awesome section of water to fish. Always seem to get into some fish just before you get to split rock. The bottom does some funky stuff there. Lost a few downrigger balls there, but it was a learning experience.

The black ghost is an awesome fly. I believe it originated from the Oquasic/Mooselookmeguntic area in Maine. I picked up a dozen while I was there this summer. Nice work!

I have fished that area alot in my 14'er. A couple of time I've had to pull out in Westport, because I couldn't make it back across to Converse when she kicks up sraight out of the North. Some day I'll have a boat that can handle it. Awesome place to be no matter what the weather!
