Re: Slow Start Bassin'

Great report! Thanks for posting. Hit Ti on Saturday, 5/18. Launched from Larrabees. Water still a bit high, dock half under water, but safe to launch. Water still murky/muddy but slightly starting to improve. Worked the NY side below the fort. Then, Larrabees north for about a mile. Caught 4 LM bas...

Re: Slow Start Bassin'

I’ve never tried. Deferred from the park fee and the fact I saw a boat and truck (while I was on the water) get stuck on the launch.

Re: Slow Start Bassin'

I agree, good ramp. You know how you can pull down and in from either direction in the shape of a “C”? Basically, the middle of that is under water and there’s no easy way to turn to back a boat in. Also, with the water that high, there’s no depth to launch. Looking forward to the water receding some!

Re: Slow Start Bassin'

Great fish and nice work with the canoe! I spent Sunday 5/5 trailering, scouting, and exploring a number of areas. St. Albans Bay Access Area: I didn’t launch because the ramp looked somewhat sketchy and I was solo. Missisquoi: Dozens of walleye boats in the river. Great Chazy River/King Bay (NY sid...

Re: St alban bass

Launching at the St. Albans access is safe/accessible, right? Are the docks in or is it too high?

P.S., to all those participating in the derby today, good luck and have a blast!! I wish I could have made it (for my first time) but could only make tomorrow work.

Re: Slow Start Bassin'

I’ll be out Sunday. May head south to Ti or north to St. Albans. Which end of the lake is most fishable, in light of debris, water level, clarity, temp., etc.)?

Lowrance Elite Ti 9 or Hook 2 12??

Happy Thanksgiving, all. I’m on the fence about whether to get the Elite Ti 9 inch or Hook 2 12 inch. Long story short, these two are my *only* options. I’ve done a ton of reading about the differences. Clearly, the Elite is a superior unit (touch screen, functionality, processor, networking, transd...

Inland Sea

Headed up this weekend. Anybody having luck with smallies and pike? How about water temperature and depth? I heard water temps are volatile.

This weekend 9/17-18

Headed out of the Port Douglas ramp both days this weekend. Any suggestions (depths, areas, etc.) and updates are greatly appreciated. Salmon, lakers, and bass. Thanks!

Re: Winter Workshop update

Hi Dean,

Do we have to sign up in advance? If so, how? Is there a cost for attending?

Thanks
