Looks like the state is attempting to get us more fishing access. Too bad those ramp accesses they tried to get bids for last year or 2 to get cleaned out etc and build launch docks never got any real traction from bidders. Same for launch access at Winooski,at least they got an engineering firm onb...

I'm seeing where the state has a bid out for a company to dredge the launch down near airport park in Colchester. Also saw a report quite a while ago where a launch down south will be redone, think it was Benson Landing, but not 100% certain as ad is long gone. It would be really nice of the Army Co...

I'm going out on a corporate sponsored trip on the 22nd, really glad that cod on open, at least will get 1 to bring home now instead of dropping them back over the transom after all the work done to bring them up without having a shark take a bite out of them...

mudchuck no see um bugs? they were terrible in florida. just heard back from oceanic pier flounder croakers blue fish and others will be in. there open 24 hours a day no fishing license needed and $10 for 24 hours not bad . hope to bring some flounder fillets home. No See Um's not so much as nasty ...

Since I lived there for 2 decades, I can tell you the white marlin open will overwhelm with the amount of boat traffic in & out of the inlet. As the others have mentioned, it might be hard (almost impossible) to book a tuna trip during that event. As for shore fishing, aside from the RT50 bridge...
