I started bleeding Pike on the ice last winter. I simply pulled out a Gill or two with my pliers. As for keeping them on ice:)

My little one was this afternoon out of Keelers. Twas just a baby, but sure took the smell of skunk out of the air.

A great northern there. Trolled around Keelers this afternoon. Only managed 1 @ #5.5. Came at a depth of 10'. Spent most of the day deeper, looks like I should have run closer to shore.

I have the Droid. Go into the android MARKETPLACE. click the magnifying glass at the "search function". Type PHOTOBUCKET. Download the free application. Photobucket allows you to store pics on the internet. From there you can link to the forums. Once the have a photobucket acct you'll need...

Tough bite beautiful day. There is a rather large algae bloom going on. With limited visibility we only boated 7 pike. The size of the fish were down also. The few fish we found were out 3-4' deeper than the prior couple of weeks. I'll give it a last shot on Friday , but then it's stick & string...

Heard tell of pike in Gilman Pond. Grabbed the canoe today and checked it out. Worked it for 4 hr., if you know the pond you know that's a real thorough going thru. Deepest water I found was only 8'. The weeds have 70% coverage. NOT a trophy pike destination but tons of little ones. Found what worke...
