Jim Martino's new sites
Hi everyone, it's spring, we have fishing and fishing equipment on our minds. The weather will change for the better soon and hopefully so will the fishing. To prepare you should have all your equipment in order before you hit the lake. If you need more Honey bee's you should check out Jim's new sit...

Nice work Troutcrazy and Fishy...Those casting bees work in ALL colors, just have to match them to weather/light conditions that particular day... I will be migrating up your way soon...My boat is buried in mud and my truck can't get back there yet. I will get it sea worthy this week and try again....

My favorite two flies...excellent choice!drachma wrote:Ken,
That's a great combination. Also try a Wooly Bugger with a Caddis Fly Nymph as a dropper.

Re: spoons ???
First, thanks C-hawk...yes it's been a while...Fishy what I meant by not changing colors all the time was IF you have already picked a color you KNOW should work for the conditions, you shouldn't have to keep changing. Not that any given color will work if tuned right. Most of us know that colors ar...

Re: spoons ???
Jim Martino from Tamiron (Honeybees) has some really useful videos and and has discussed this in detail on here. Take a look here for some of the videos http://www.tamiron.com/Articles.asp?ID=257 super helpful in showing what happens when we modify spoons, or add snaps in front. Hi all, it's spring...

Personally I do not like braid except when using lite bites or a dipsy... I don't seem to have any problems hookin...
