Re: DYP Drawing Results
Thank you for setting up the derby this year. I had a serious lack of fishing over the last year.

Re: Willsboro bay
I want to see some very large pike from the outer bay! I'm still not giving up on the Broad Lake up north by Stave and Providence. A little on the chilly side yesterday morning around 8am. Picked up a few medium sized Lakers in the 7-8 pound range. 80ft. down over 150 fow. Water temps were 53-55 deg...

Re: Groundfishing out of Rockport, MA
Missed this report, its always fun fishing with wes. My last trip we had to stop ground fishing because we couldn't catch anything that wasn't nice a cod and my arms were falling of fire from reeling up doubles in deep water.

Should have checked here before I picked up some 6-layer dip! I'm sure yours will be at least 16% better.Reelax wrote:Buckeye... Grills are always great...
I plan to bring 7 layer dip and Tostitos, traditional frostbite food I've been bringing for 5 or 6 years...
Hungry already...

Has everybody seen this link?
http://www.weather.gov/btv/lakeLevel?year=2016
Really nice graph showing the current lake level compared to the min/max/average
We are well below average the current trajectory definitely has us dropping fast unless we get some sustained rainfall.

Re: Where to see Tracker Grizzly/Lowe Roughneck boats??
Find yourself an older Whaler. A 13 might be big enough for your needs. A 17 will allow you to fish most anywhere, anytime. Both are extremely stable and make excellent platforms for fly casting. Both can get in the skinny water no problem. The 17 will get you home in just about any conditions Cham...

No worries at all, most views I've ever gotten on a thread! It's concerning that we still don't have a consensus on this. Just in case things are winding down... Yankees suck!NHfishin4fun wrote:I do want to apologize to tiny for hijacking his legitimate fishing post with this siide topic though.

I sent this to a friend who has a farm very close to converse, he is a fisherman but not on the forum. I'll let you know if he is interested.

3/26 Whallons bay with another PB
Cas invited me for the first trip of the year on his boat. We were in the water at 630 and after a quick battery swap and some engine smoke we headed across from Converse to Whallons. There were a few boats in the corner by the moorings so we got the rods set and headed in to the crowd. Had 45 minut...

Re: Nice last trip for 2015 - Shelburne Bay 12/26
I was hoping somebody would notice that! Short rod with a smooth handle was pretty sketchy in the rod holder. That's my pike jigging rod so it was actually plenty stiff for moving the bigger brown around and getting it netted.Gecha (Gerry) wrote:tiny wrote:

Nice last trip for 2015 - Shelburne Bay 12/26
Went out with dw61 early today and headed to the coast guard launch. We ran in to popster and digitroll there and we all headed over to Shelburne Bay. I'm not actually complaining about the warm weather, but I brought one of my ice rods out to protest the fact that I can't ice fish yet. We ran a bun...
