Also it seemed that a chartreuse and purple glow spoon ruled the day. Caught everything on it.!

No this trip we stayed between the bay and Schuyler Island areas. We have been down around the river in weeks past. Too rough out there this trip to go around. We're in a red 17' Prince craft with a 60 hp Merc. It's a treat for me as I'm normally out in a kayak.

Hit Willsboro Saturday morning 09/05. Boated 5 assorted including this bad boy and three lakers for the BBQ. Trolled between Schyler I and the bay in 120 fow, 80 ft down 25 feet back @ 2.8 mph. Big waves made boat control interesting. The bay is still the best! I think I spotted other forum members ...

A kayak armada sounds awesome! Maybe something can be arranged later this summer on a weekend for the kayakers on this forum. Keep this idea alive!

Stayed on NY side the whole way down.

We did mark some small groups of bait at around 30' down. Did mark some fish following below the bait but really not much. Trolled from Cumberland head down to nearing Port Henry and maybe marked 5 good sized fish the whole day. Most at or near the bottom nothing much higher than 30'. Not a regular ...

Hi New to the forum. I fly fish from a kayak for the most part. 2015 Season off to a good start this weekend wading in on an LC trib. Only one but fun on an 8wt.
