Wondering the same
I too had shoilder surgery last September. Hope yours goes better than mine. Looking at fishing same area in a couple weeks. Will be interested in how you did. Good luck with both shoulder and fishing.

Re: Lithium battery
The smart battery chargers will select which battery type they are connected to. Hence smart charger. You can also select which type you are charging by the mode switch. I always charge on the lifepo4 10 to 20 amp. I'm also thinking of a solar charger so I won't have to keep taking it out of the boat

Re: Lithium battery
I switched to a lithium 100 ah 12 v for my Minkota 55 Power drive on my pontoon Use it mostly for trolling for Walley on local river. In light wind and current I can usually get two days of use . If breezy with moderate current I will recharge every day. If you go lithium invest in a lithium charger...

Grandson had his first fish on by 9am and was over excited as he has never caught anything bigger than small bass. Fish hooked on a rigger down 75 over 80 fow. Had to keep c...

Re: Inland Sea
I have a 22 ft pontoon and think it's one of the best fishing platforms I've ever used . Have fished Champlain several times and very impressed with how it handles rough conditions. Made my own Downrigger mounts and has numerous rod holders. Plenty of open space for everyone to fish. I also have the...

Check your prop hub. My 90 Merc did same thing at idle. These hubs are made to wear and after time become loose and motor will vibrate.

Port Henry area
Still trying to get up to Champlain and try the new boat out.
Not real fussy on fish species. Is it worth trying the Port Henry area for Lakers or Salmon this time of year. ?
Thanks

Congratulations on your new boat. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I order the winbreak a month ago. Should be here any day. The downrigger brackets I made work great and are easly removable . Good luck and enjoy.
