Re: Decmber 15 Burrrrr
Gahhh!!! Haha that was a good laugh, I once wrote ..."whiting".... Or so I thought I did. A very common catch down south. Wrote "enjoying whiting". Check out what it autocorrects to when you get the chance.

Re: walleyes
I shifted from silver to gold this year..... And that is why I rarely post on here. Takes a lot of driving, experimenting, and getting skunked to learn what i know. 1 person sees you land 1 fish and before you know it, you've got a shadow for the rest of the day. And they WILL shoulder you trying to...

Re: Underwater Lake Trout strikes
That's why you run steel before and after camera, I even had 3 brown trout attack my camera this last weekend. Supposedly cautious, but very aggressive now before peak spawn

Rode past there today. Thick decaying scum all around lake, and it smelled like a sewer. Yuck.

That bloom on the lake is even worse now. Hope it doesn't do the Shelburne pond thing.

17-18.99999999999 are throw backs. Can keep 1 over 19. Yesterday was 1st time I wasn't checked for license this year. Surprising. Water was very nasty with the algae, after trailering it looked like green dye pouring from the carpet bunk. Faired well myself but hate the crowd there sometimes, consta...

Have had them in past when handling, remove all finger prints when you hold them bare handed. Learned that the hard way.

Re: Giant landlock in the prov. Of Quebec
Gotta bring deep sea gear for that. I'd imagine that salmon would smoke smaller cheap reels. I had a carp do that to my trion 20. Was never the same after.

Re: What's happen with the smallies ?
Plus, the guy that won with smallmouth was from Georgia, I believe, not exactly a smallmouth area You are correct, didn't really get to enjoy smallies down in the flat lands. They have them in the northern resevoirs but not like up here. I can't seem to get a break while crappie fishing haha, no co...

Re: Shelburne 6/24
I have always thought about trolling that giant Williams whitefish, the 8inch or so spoon you guys always see at the store and wonder what you would catch on it......anyone ever tried it. 15 bucks is quite the risk though for a hang up.although a laker that would bite it........

Re: Inland Sea Rudd!!
We have a ton down in GA. I'm sure neighboring States have. All it takes is a pair with eggs. They get big too. Also. Those Rudd are a favorite for pike. Large soft minnow for them to eat, so don't be surprised if someone brought Rudd in for bait. That's what makes Pike grow huge in Europe.

Re: Water Wolf question
Hey Jeff, It should display no,matter what length the video is. That camera for some reason, really only wants to use VLC to play video. So youd have to download to your tablet. I have it on my small laptop and I plug micro sub into laptop and VLC kicks on, I get to watch videos 3 seconds long if I ...

Don't forget about walleye and crappie fishing. Gar fishing is pretty hot. Good thing about VT fishing is there is always something biting. I'll be back out on boat in a couple weeks to try when they are consistently at 40ft. My best time of the year. Then more videos will happen.
