Re: Lake Trout Angler Mortality??
Dick you had an entire 4 page thread last summer that was this same argument about summer salmon ethics, where you argued that fishermen who catch and release were basically immoral for the fact that they could be killing fish. I don't think anyone has a goal of attacking you or your ideas, but you...

Re: Anyone heard from Jim @ Tamiron?
Jim's website says opening delayed...website not ready. Spoke with him on the phone and he is waiting to hear from a couple different web hosting services to see if they can do what he wants his site to do. Hopefully soon he'll be up and running! Thanks a lot for the report Raz. For some reason I c...

Re: Anyone heard from Jim @ Tamiron?
Bumping this...
Heard Tamiron would be open for business once again April 15 or before.
Jim's website mentioned it a few weeks ago.
Last week and tonight I'm unable to get on Tamiron's site.
Jim... you out there?
Anyone have any news?
Thanks in advance.
Tight lines this year.

Re: APPALLED
Reading through this thread, I was surprised at some of the points of pollution pointed out that are allowed to run in to Champlain. Down here in the live free or die state we think of VT as VERY environmentally friendly? Sorry the green false facade fooled you. Pollutants flow downhill pretty free...

Re: APPALLED
Haven't been on the board in a bit. Was following up on the last page of this thread. Was going to mention the possibility of what Gary found. Can't speak to that operation or VT rules as I'm from NH. I had a friend with a dairy farm in NH. His son owned a septic business across the street. My frien...

Agreed, and I believe the Scotties are the only riggers that use NO power on descent.Thorny wrote:Scotty has the lowest power draw of any rigger on the market!
