The lake is and has been quite fishable for some time now. Come on up and get in on some of the action.

Re: PETITION TO DISCONNECT CHAMPLAIN CANAL FROM LAKE CHAMPLA

# 601 This could turn in to a reel mess, more competition for our local smelt. I had idea we had so many invasives already in the lake system. Seems like a big risk for the actual number of pleasure boater using the canal system. It's a no brainer, we need action now.

Re: Calling all Duck Hunters Where's All the Birds??????

Slowest season I can ever remember. Here on and around the north central part of the lake. Lowest duck numbers I've witnessed in 25 years still lots of geese. I wonder if all the early high water had some negitive effect on the local nesters. I can say we havent seen any real push of flight birds th...

Schuyler Is. to Willsboro and back again

No Silver or chrome but plenty of Bronze backed lakers to keep it interesting. If I found bait I hit lakers all came between 21' and 35' down copper and orange on anything early then lemon lime on silver later. On the water 8 to 2:30 with a few boats out everyone seemed to be in the hunt mode. Did 1...

Re: Willsboro solo Wednesday "Fast and furious"

Sweet, nice to see some fish turning on. I like the solo fishing, can get pretty crazy as a one man show when the fish want to play. This area has been good to me, looks like decent weather too. Hope to get out there this weekend myself. Thanks for the report.
