Never seen a salmon look like that come out of the lake let alone 2 in the same trip. Looked like days dead fish to me

Winds look good on noaa, wind finder and isolunar.

Plan your fishing around a forecast and your going to miss out on some very good days.

mabey you could have the wardens check the gigantic split shot for finger prints...........

Just curious but how could you know they are "his" snagging rigs? Im sure he's not the only one........

that is the rule. you have to have a ny license to fish with 3 rods in new York waters.

what launch r you going to be using for the weigh in?

im in but what about starting at daylight? i'm launching from Vermont and like to be lines down when its light.

I'm wondering if someone with specific knowledge of how to safely handle and release fish would put a post up here to give people better knowledge of how to help released fish survive. I see a lot of pictures of fish with fingers in their gills and although they may swim away they probably wont live...

the currents in the lake have been very strong. to say that you need to do 2.8 to get 2.4 is not always the case at all. we fished the other day with 1.5-1.7 gps with 2.3-2.5 at the ball and going the other way we were 3.0-3.3 for 2.3-2.5 at the ball. changes day by day tho.
