Shelburne Bay

Had to be off the water by 11:00 am (little league all stars can put a dent in your fishing!) so I stayed close to the launch at Shelburne Bay. We had lines down by 5:30 am and trolled from 5:30-10:30 am with zero action. Tried different colors and depths ranging from 33' down to 60'. Boredom took over and we decided to slow down and go deeper and target lakers. Still no action until the last minute when I hooked on to this salmon while targeting lakers. 85' down at 1.5 mph! I was surprised when she came up to the boat. She was in rough shape so I kept her for the grill. 22" and very tasty salmon steaks!
