That is a beauty of a fish. I live lake trout jigging in the winter.

The best thing about the video was the pure excitement of the kid. That's the level we all hope for.

It was great to hear they intended to put it back in the water. That one would have a ton of piglets. :o

That depends on the lake. It seemed to be in Wisconsin based on the watermark on the video. In some lakes in the west the Lakers are decimating the native trout and salmon. There is an article about it in this months TU. Every pound of laker can mean a loss of 5 pounds of the native fish. If that girl was 25 lb, then she might have eaten 125 lb of salmon in her life. In many of those lakes, they have bounties on the Lakers.
