First trip in the new boat
First trip out in my new Tracker Tundra That I picked up from The guy's at Vt Home and Marine. Started with boards for the first two hours without any hits. Switched to the riggers just as the fog lifted and got a release as soon as I switched to a copper Sutton. Nice salmon but it came off right at the boat. Got another release ten minutes later and as my buddy was reeling it in the other rigger went off. Double!!!
He landed his first salmon and I picked up a nice laker. A few minutes later we picked up another salmon. Ended the day with three lakers, two salmon and a bunch of releases that didn't make it back to the boat. This was my first time chasing salmon and only my third chasing lakers. I drove home with a big smile. The new boat worked great.

Glad the smiles are aplenty. New rig and nailing fish. Great combo. Oh yeah, just one thing. Where are the pics? I'm surprised no one has mentioned this detail. LCU requirement.
Hope your lines only get tighter. Fred

Launched out of Converse. Was using silver and blue vertical blades and copper Suttons when it was foggy/overcast. 20' down 10' back. Switched to silver Suttons when the sun came out. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help from you guy's so far. It's what made the difference between going home with a smile and just going home.

Great trip multi! Looking forward to reading many more great reports!
Ron, i think Matt and his wife had about the same results as Cathy and I. We hooked up six times in four hours. All were 17-18" clones.... Except the record breaker that got away.Digitroll (Ron) wrote:

Re: First trip in the new boat
Glad to hear you had some positive results multi...
Nothing really notable happen in our 6 hour tour in the inland sea today. Had 6 on with 3 boated. 3 colors of lead and cheaters with riggers at 24 were the best sets. Purple and green with gold back was the best spoon. Wife had a good time, that's what mattered... Good fishing along Raz and Cathy... And some other Canadian friends.
Fish on!
