While I was in NY (not fishing ) I picked up whats called the Empire pass ($65 per year) which allows you enter state park and boat launches for free. So if you go out there a lot it would be worth it just putting it out there.

When I saw the title I thought it was some gimmick they were using this year to try to fill Yankee Stadium...

Great deal for those that launch in the State Parks often. Quite e few guys in Fairhaven use it.

that is a great deal, i've been buying one for a few years now, cheaper for the pass then paying the daily launch fee for the 10 day loc derby in the spring and use it several other times through out the year. i love NY
