New Fish & Wildlife Commissioner

Post by 4cs »

Only time will tell, doesn't say much about this guy but looks like he has no experience or even an outdoorsman.

Patrick Berry did a very good job as commissioner hope this guy follows suit.

Didn't see that coming. Saw this here:

Porter, who has a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of Washington and was a commercial fishing deckhand in Alaska, said he is excited by the chance to work to protect the animals, fish, plants and their habitats.

“The department works very hard to protect and improve our land and our wildlife," Porter said. “I can think of nothing more important than making sure that hunters, anglers and others continue to have the opportunity to experience all that the Vermont outdoors has to offer, and I am honored to join the department in that mission."

He's got some big shoes to fill...I'm hoping he'll do a good job.
Hate to see Commissioner Barry leave but wish him the very best.
Catch and serve with lemon.
