fishing trip on 6/29/13

went out fishing this morning launching out of Port Henry. We headed north toward the old dish. Put lines in and started trolling north water clean at that point by the time we got to barber pt it was muddy made a few pass picked up 6 shakers no keepers headed back south and got several more shakers we had fun but would have been nice to get one keeper.. Got fish on every lure we had out and then I switched up two for stick baits and picked up a few on them. Nice morning beside the water being muddy and several other boats out. May try it again in the morning not sure yet. was picking fish up from boards and downriggers as far down as 40' and 35back. Now just to figure out how to get bigger fish lol

bigger baits like the Sutton 44, honeybee large and the larger sizes of the speedy's, mooselooks will cut down on the # of shakers. I usually run larger baits on my junk lines.
