Headed out of converse this morning with 802fishtail and another buddy. Arrived to 24 degree temps and skim ice out to the middle of the lake. Set 2 riggers at 10 ft and planets with pins minnows and spoons flat or 2 colors lead. Trolled around from 8am (had some delays at the access that cost us 30 minutes) till 245. We had one release, with nothing home, marked a few fish, but very little bait. Water was 33.8 outside town farm, 35.4 in the shallows of the bay. Checked shelburne on the way, and the river has created a path through the ice leaving what looked like 10-20ft section of ice, looks like with a little effort it is ready to go. Other we talked to were equally lucky today!
