1/18 WORKSHOP ANNOUNCMENT! (Itinerary added)

Post by Thorny »

Ron made this announcement on the original workshop thread but I don't believe the message got out. Ellen Marsden has very graciously agreed to come to the Jan18th workshop and discuss her Laketrout Research with us. Hopefully she is the first of many guest speakers to help educate our group in the future. Those of you who have met Ellen on the Melosira trips know what a great opportunity we have to have Ellen come spend an evening with us! Mark your calendars for what should be a great evening.
Hope to see you there!

Hi Folks
I know from previous years that guys come and go throughout the evening. That is perfectly fine but I thought I would give you a quick itinerary for night, so people who want to see Ellens presentation can plan accordingly . Ellen is very excited to come share her research with our group. She will be bringing her laptop and projector for a presentation. She wanted to make sure she had plenty of time for discussion afterwords, so bring your questions.

I believe Ron will still have tables set up for those who want to tape spoons or tie flies.

5-6 Meet and greet
6-730 Ellen's Laketrout Presentation
730 Raffel

See you there!

Doesn't get much better than this! Thanks Rob. It's truly a group effort.
