Walleye & slot limit

There is a specie that all the Champlain fisherman would like to catch on a regular basis and it is the walleye. Even with all the work and money put on that fishery the result are not extraordinary and because the catch are rare everybody or almost everybody keep the walleyes thay catch.
I think for the benefit of everybody Vt F&W should introduce a slot limit; since the introduction of a slot limit in the province of Quebec the quality and numbers of walleyes never stop to increase. At 1st many guys were reluctant with those new regs but now nobody complain.
Naturally they should also improve spawning area and talkig about spawning they should delay the opening by maybe a week to let those big females go back in the lake instead of being caught in the rivers.
