time for a new alternator

in these 3.7/470s the charging system they put in is not very dependable as i been finding out.it has a stator deal almost like and outboard. they are bad enough they make this up grade kit to a regular alternator, as soon as i get it in hopefuly i can get a full day in fishing. heres a pic of the kit i have coming

Motors junk any way merc yokk 460ford head made a slumimnum block to got it have lots problems with them just like 5he mercsrbs they made when run good these 4vyli fer ho like a sob but lots prob like the charging system, antifreeze lesks etc
