Does anyone know if Garmin 53DV can accept a Navionics card?

Hey there, Mudchuck. I don't have any experience with the Garmin maps, but a guy that I talked to at Bass Pro in NH really likes them. Said he has both Lowrance and Garmin and prefers his Garmin unit. Here is another thread on here about it :

Good luck with your decision!

Thanks CF2.
I'm going to go with the Garmin, as there charts appear to be just as good, if not better than Navionics for Champlain and some of our inland lakes here in VT.
If I was to do a lot of inshore coastal fishing, I'd be inclined to go with a unit that is supported by Navionics though.

Mudchuck ... Bass Pro has the Garmin Echomap 53CV on sale (in store only, though) for ~$280 right now! Great deal for a $450 unit.
