Went to Bullwagga bay and found open water in front of campground, decided not to chance it with 4-wheeler. there were guys fishing out from RR tracks all the way to eastern shore, not sure how they got out there, Maybe they walked.Checked out McCuin slang and decided not to chance crossing the brook but there were 2 atvs out there and it looked safe,6-8 guys out there fishing,do not know how they did.Went to Larrabies and atv'd it all the way down to the east creek.Found some bluegills and nice perch and occasional crappie in the weeds sight fishing them in the pop-up. Not real fast and you had to move a lot but fun overall.Kinda cold traveling but no wind Saturday

That sounded like fun. I can't wait for the main lake to start freezing again. I never got to enjoy deep water jigging for lakers so my fingers are crossed.

I sit and patiently await it :geek:
Seems that alot of the ramps are starting to freeze, we will have some warm weather this week so..... I'm thinking mid February will be the ticket. Those whitefish are gonna get harvested!!
