I believe that's going to be an awesome rig for you and your family Todd. It looks like a great boat and will surely last you as many years as you need it to.
Congratulations on a beautiful looking, fish catching machine.

Sweet boat! The 19 and 22-foot C-Dorys are an awesome intermediate sized platform. There is not really another boat in that class that is as usable and practical. Dreaming of "someday," over the last year I have taken the time to check out EVERY boat I have spotted that looked appealing to me: several of those have been C-Dorys. Other than some wooden boats there really isn't any "big" 19s other than the glass C-Dorys, and all the aluminum 19s are actually "small" boats.

With the dependable Suzuki and its good gas consumption and sea-running reputation, that C-Dory is going to be a life-long boat. C-Dory claims they can run in a foot of water, and with the rounded bottom it should be soft running in seas. There are owners who boast 15 knots at over 5mpg with that hull- and hard NOT to get wife's approval with the huge cabin and on-board head. That's a 24' boat in a 19' package and doesn't even weigh as much as it should for its size.

Congrats and more than a little jealous!
