8/20 & 21oswego

Post by Flashpoint »

We arrived sunday night to find the warm water stacked in tight...71 degrees down 100 ft !!
Well what a difference 24a hrs makes. Winds died down & it was game on! Did 4 Kings & a laker by dark. Actually had a quad going at 7:30 in flat calm seas....landed 3 of the 4! !
Today started of a little bumpy with a west breeze...but the screen looked good! Did 3 kings by 9:0....1 rigger...1 dipsie & 1 on the 500 copper! We then went 0 for 3 on the dipsie as we got a case of the dropsies. All hits came from 120 to 150 fow. The inside bight slowed for us so we switched things up and slid in a bit further. & tormented the browns for a bit....taking a half dozen hits before calling it at about 2:00. Ended up 7 for 11 .... its on out here boys! Come &the get'm!!!

Good to hear Flashpoint. I was out there for the hard blow Friday and the rest is history, bath water down 100. Managed a gorgeous Brown around 12 lb, released to get bigger. I did speak with some folks that did fairly well fishing out of temp with meat rigs, go figure.
See you on the pond!
