Ok, I'm sold.
Anyone using the X4d? Is it worth the extra 150.00? The bluetooth feature isn't enough by itself to warrant the extra money to me. Any other reasons to go with X4d over the X4?

If you can see your probe on your graph the x4d is overkill IMHO. I would prefer the speed and temp at surface and ball over the depth at ball. I have an X4d and I would pay a dollar more for it.
x4d doesn't show surface speed, so all I have is gps speed that doesn't read the surface current.
If I bought new I would by the X4

X4D actually gives you the depth of the cannonball as well. If you have a Fishfinder that can see the cannonball, that part is not that big a deal.
The Speed and temp are the invaluable parts.

On the fishhawk Bluetooth model has anyone noticed that
the unit takes a while to update info from the speed sincere..?
it almost acts like it's receiving info from the probe which I expect
a lag from being wireless any ideas or experiences with this
