2023 mexico bay season
salmon and brown trout fishing was very good this year.good numbers of fish around.spring browns were plentiful, but as usual for spring, they are on the smaller size.a really nice addition to this season was the amount of atlantics mixed in.many trips this year we had at least one mixed in and sometimes multiple fish mixed in.we got a few that were in the 25" range and i know of a couple taken in the 27-29" range!!!!!summer time brown fishing was off the hook!!!they had very little to no pressure cause of the very good salmon fishing starting very early in the year.we had many trips with nonstop action with numerous doubles and triples.fish were very nice, mostly in the 5-10lb range.salmon fishing was very good, but the fish were on the small size.we did boat a few really nice cohos in the 13-15lb range.
