2018 "Winter" workshops
Hello Anglers and Friends,
Here is what I know now. We will have only one this year and it will be on February 17,2018 at the Miller center on Gosse court from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. we will have some great engaging speakers and a great raffle to support Green Mountain Conservation Camp in sending our youth to camp to build the skills of stewardship to last a lifetime. As soon as I can confirm I will post an itinerary of guest speakers. I expect to see all your smiling faces there.
Till then get your frostbite on and fish on, Dean
UPDATE;
Happy to announce that our guest speakers for the upcoming Feb 17 LCU Winter Seminar will include 2 familiar faces.
Brian Chipman, Fisheries Biologist from Vermont Fish & Wildlife Dept, will bring us up to date on the state of the Champlain Salmon & Trout fisheries.
Brad Young, Fisheries Biologist and Sea Lamprey Control Program Manager, US Fish & Wildlife Service.
In addition, we are hoping that someone from USFWS will be present to speak on Cormorants

Yes - they are open to all who want to attend. Highly recommend them, the speakers are very informative, and good to touch base with everyone over the winter. Supports a good cause as well.

Would be great to see you and Andy at the seminar.... It will be worth the long trip, especially if you can get a float in..

Good Morning All, Do you know if someone from Lowrance will be at the seminar? If so, hopefully he will have some display units to play with. Going to buy a new combo unit for my boat for 2018. I've always liked Eagle(not made any more)/Lowrance. Just ordered a Fish hawk the other day. An early Christmas present to me:)

Yes there will be a lot of folks there to talk LOWRANCE as most of us use them but a couple of real professors of the product usually attend.
