Assateague Island is located just south of Ocean City MD.
It's a national park going from Maryland to Virginia. We go there often to relax and fish after day's work. My fishing is not at it's best right now, many throwbacks, but I keep trying for a nice flounder keeper. We also enjoy the scenery. Only a few minutes boat ride, and you're in full nature, at it's best. Wild poneys a few feet away from shore.
