I think the bulk of it went to the owner of Black Bass Antiques.fishy1 wrote:i had a chance to buy your fathers collection but got up to it to late. i was fishing to much. ha ha wished i would have gone up and looked anyhow. do you know who got most of it?

Nice work. Lots of shine on those lures.

What did you seal those lures with and how many coats?

I see a guy on youtube using Devcon 2 part epoxy on all of his crankbaits. He used the type that takes about 30 min. to set but I couldn't find any. So I bought this 5 min. set time by Devcon. One coat applied with a small brush. It levels out quite nicely. Definitely water proof. I put some in a cup and let it set for two days and it never bothered it.jimbow wrote:What did you seal those lures with and how many coats?

I'm terrible with a computer and trying to figure out how to post multiple pictures. I'm not sure how the rest of you are airbrushing your spoons but anything I read they say it's best to keep your airbrush horizontal. I've been using a box that I cut on a angle but then decided to whip up a quick easel. Glad that I did as it works well and folds right up to be placed out of the way. The little handle cut in the cardboard seems to help if you want to pick the lure up and look at it from different angles. Hopefully these pic's will help if you want to throw one together also.

Thank you. I had to get a little guidance from the wife on the photos. But I made the easel all by myself without her help. LOLGecha (Gerry) wrote:Nice foldable easel.
