That would be pretty neat getting your stuff back. I bet some other equipment is down there too. Spoons at 5$ each would add up quick!

Thanks for the spin-n-glo explanation, always looking to expand the arsenal.

My buddy was diving it this morning and found a sensor and downrigger ball. PM me Keith and we can text about it. I have a photo as well.

This is the coolest thing I’ve seen in some time!!!!

It is a post like this that inspires me to be involved more and monitor less.

That's great news if the sensor he found was the one you lost... Love this forum

Awesome story. Now if I could find my brand new Oakley’s, fishing rod and god knows what else has gone overboard near Providence my wife would get off my back about the costs per pound!

Sounds like a good ending to a tough story.

So to ensure we don’t leave his thread as a mystery... just got a text from Koissu
It’s my ball with the probe! Working on getting in touch with the person who recovered it.

Well spoke too soon... the hunt continues. the person who found it leads dives and apparently gave it away. Working to hopefully get contact info to work my way to the right person

I hope you have luck with the recovery. Someone might find the cannonball useful. But the probe? Don't think so.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Along with probably everyone else who reads these posts.

I posted on fb and have a lead on a dive company that does dives. Gonna call them tomorrow and keep chasing leads. Would love to get it back... it would be more heartbreaking to not get it back at this point having seen pictures of it recovered.

The hunt continues. I have a firm lead finally on who the dive was done by. Found a picture on Facebook of the same boat. Looks like it is the charter who does all the charters for waterfront dive center. A guy Larry boivin runs “scuba charters” gonna call them tomorrow
