Shakedown Saturday

Post by Trackertroller »

Launched outta converse late morning, no real expectations but to get back in the groove.
Got skunked but not discouraged as Fish were busting the surface frequently, screen looked good too.

A little issue with the main motor kept us from heading to our favorite spot.

Water below diamond island was almost 60*
But most temps from from the launch were in the mid 50’s.

Might be a bit bumpy next couple days but feeling it’s going to be great no matter if we find them or not!

Will post more as thing transpire, nice to be on LC again!!!

"Plenty of fish" sighting heading east on 279/benn bypass this afternoon. Good looking ride Jeremy and crew. Hope you found some fish the last 2 days! We are heading up Wednesday in hopes of some good fishing.

Good to be on the big lake. We had 3 days of skunks but I’m not discouraged.

Water temp still very cold.

We went to shelburne today, surface was 44* until red rocks, then 50* but dropped back to 49* leaving the bay.

Motor finally dislodged whatever it’s issue was!!!

Be back for Father’s Day weekend staying at shelburne campground weds - Monday

Matt,
Are you local to southern VT?

Good luck this week!

South of Westport might be your best bet for warmer water. Though Fish were busting the surface on Saturday in converse bay

Jeremy,
I do live in So VT, Bennington. Glad the main is running for you, too bad about the skunks!
We will be launching form under the Crown Point bridge and trying to put something together in that area.
