Winooski River Mouth

Post by danruss »

Anyone fish the Winooski River mouth this last weekend? How are the water temps? Any marks?

Fished near there Monday afternoon. Marked a few and found water as warm as 38, but no luck. Boat near me landed what we think was a laker, but that's about it. Ran shallow stick baits, water ranged from 34-38.

So did I. You must've been the guy that buzzed in and cut off my line. No wonder I didn't catch anything. Also you owe me a red and purple challenger that I lost when my lines wrapped.

I don't care how it happens, you just get that challenger back in my tackle box. Or I'll erase your waypoints.

Haha just messing around... was fishing with @danruss. Unfortunately no bites, but great to get out on the water!

There's nothing to work out. I just have put up with it.

"You don't have enough line out."
"You've got too much line out."
"You're going too fast."
"You're going too slow."
"There's no fish in this lake."
"We should try over there."
"Can I borrow (read: have) your ________?"

Ha!
Is it mostly lakers there, or do people catch salmon there too?

Man You guys crack me up...
Loved the quick change to your avatar showing your buddies pick crossed out...

You guys definitely fit right in with the fleet here after this banter...

you forgot;

you are turning too sharp...
why does your motor smoke so much?
your running too deep...
your running too shallow...
Need some bling...
the cannon balls are scaring the shallow fish why cant we just use the planner boards?
you didnt bring the peanut butter crackers?!

this list could go on forever
