Splash Down Shake Down 3/6/18 Tuesday

Post by digitroll (ron) »

Fantastic day with Chris and Don today for a short 4 hour shakedown. Weather very cooperative after a 4 day North blow. Don reeled in and released this handsome 26" salmon that weighed very close to 7 lbs today. The 2018 season has begun for us!

gOod to see you guys out there today... What a pretty day to be on the big pond.

From the looks of Don's fish we caught her sister a couple hrs later and about 8 miles away.... Took .4 deg increase in water temp to pay off with a beauty, just like Don said on the radio...

Shaping up to be a great season already!!

Wow, another 7 pounder in a boat already. It is starting out much better than 2017. I'm really getting the itch. Thanks for the post and the picture!

Don used a program on his I-phone to brighten it up. Pretty cool for those shadow photos when the sun is in the clouds. Made the sun come out in the whole photo!
