Westport launch conditions?

Any info on the conditions at Westport launch for trolling this Sunday would be appreciated.

during the week the launch was filled with ice chunks dont know now

anyone know if the launch is iced in?sunday is looking like a decent day to be on the water

After seeing your post on LOU surprised you are not going to Mexico bay I have not personally seen west port but would imagine any ice will be between walls at launch but should break up pretty quick tell the Mrs I said hi

hit the launch this morning in westport took pics. lake was skimmed over a little but the wind should take care of that.

4 pm lake in westport was ice free

thanks for the report matt.scott,i would head to mexico,but they are calling for a bit more wind then I want to deal with.may just be our first trip to champ.this weekend.anyone else thinking about it?

Westport was iced in today out to about 40 yards from shore....

tuesday feb. 27 2018 westport launch still froze in. open water 50 yards from launch though
