Well persistence and a purple/black Honey Bee paid off for me today.
Started at my usual #'s @ 7:30 AM, purple/black HB and Sunrise Speedi, marked a lot of bait,
had a "long distance LT release on Speedi, but nothing else. Ran up to Scotch Bonnet and made 2 passes - no bait, no bites - went back where I marked the bait and Wham-O! Salmon, salmon, salmon - landed 12, lost 6-7 more between 11 AM and 1 PM - Purple/Black HB accounted for 8 of the fish landed - all salmon were between 15" - 18"
switched out Sunrise Speedi for a Wonder Bread Mooselook and it accounted for the others. Also landed a 19" LT.
Left them biting - the weather doesn't look too promising for the next couple of days, plus I have a project to work on, may be Tues. or Wed. next week
