Westport

Post by C-Hawk »

Waited out the rain and started late using the Westport ramp. Wind was a factor again, first south, thought I'd get a break inbetween changing to north, but it was imediate and just as strong for a while. Lots of bait down here. Almost everywhere but over 100'. It may come up to 20, but only in 100 or better.Only managed to boat 1 fish , small, lost 3. They were hitting on the turns and boat control was an issue while fighting fish, (excuse). By the time the sun broke through, first time all week, I was spent. Headed in and got the boat on the trailer just as the clearing front came through with a howling west wind. Colors today, silver and pink, and the ever present Rainbow Trout Speedy.
