I've nevery entered the frostbite derby but sounds like fun...maybe I'll watch an listen this year...gonna be on the water no matter...but you boys keep it civil...:)

It was a great battle with that steelhead. It never jumped, but continually ran back and forth behind the boat. Matt did a great job getting it in the net and that's when the excitement started. Thanks so much for taking me out Matt! My personal best salmonoid!

Look out folks, I'm bringing in a ringer. I'm not going to say who except that he hails from Port Henry. I just upped the C-Hawks game, and am thrilled to have the forum's best fisherman abord!

Wishing you all the best for the Shootout !! Bent rods and tight lines.

Unfortunately the brake calipers on my truck began to seize on my way home from work today, so I will set my sights on next years' Frostbite Shootout.
