Although I like to fish the Willsboro bay and Corlear bay on the big water, I thought I'd try LG because it was closer for me and the crowds were all gone. Marked a lot of fish off the million dollar beach (mostly bass)and picked up some bass there. Then headed out to 100 foot water and jigged for lake trout. Water temp was 67.7 on top and 65 all the way down to 65 feet. I have a unit that allows me to see the temp every 5 feet. That is where the thermocline started. Marked Lakers at 90 feet and jigged a nice female up. Hoping the cool weather brings the temps down and salmon up.
