Hit the lake saturday with my buddy vin. Launched in shelburne at about 8, only truck in the lot and only boat on the bay. Calm water and some rain, it felt like a fishy day. We set gear and trolled our lucky section from the yacht marker to the wood posts with no luck. decided it was time to try some new gear. Set a spin n glow behind an 00 dodger, and trolled toward the broad lake running the bottom. Ended up landing 5 decent lakers 2 on the spin, one on a cheater, and 2 on slide diver with a green with black dot speedy shiner. We also lost a really nice laker 50ft behind that came almost all the way from the water several times while barrel rolling. off the water around 1:30 with motor issues.
